A public bathhouse in Fukuro-machi, Hiroshima — drawn from Japanese bathing culture (the sentō) and the idea of meigakure, "hide and reveal", framed by a quiet view to a Prunus Kojo-no-mai tree. The roof is built in the traditional orioki system: joists resting on beams, beams resting on posts, held by hand cut timber joinery.
